Typing your resignation letter and folding it into a envelope is easy as an ABC.
But before quitting your current job, there are a few things that you want to do.
1. Identify what you want to do next.
Is it realistic? Do you have the skill to do it?
If both answers are yes, easy case, find job that is related to it.
If it is not realistic or you do not have the skill yet, you still have two choices:
Plan A - No more fantasy. Quit your job, gain the skill, do what you want. But first of all, make sure you have the budget to do so, or have at least 6 months saving to quit your job without having the next one.
Plan B - Stick your butt back to your seat. You gotta plan and go with something you can already do if you don't want to go back to the beginning again.
2. Identify what you don't like about the job. Are you sure you won't have this issue in the next job?
There are no perfect job, bear this in mind.
3. Identify what you like about the job. Is it worth quitting because of #2 ?
Or you actually loves what you're doing and it actually makes your #2 bearable?
4. Will you regret quitting? Why?
Great superior? You definitely won't be able to find it anywhere.
Great colleagues? You don't know how bad the office politics are out there.
.... If there is a reason for you to stay, are you sure you want to quit?
Being a 22 years old freshman in the working society, I do face a lot of dilemmas, still facing them.
Wherever you go, whatever you do, the choice is in your hand.
Make sure you know where you want your destination is.
Whether or not the train will bring you there, you wouldn't know.
But something you will know is that, you'll keep moving forward, and you won't be standing on this same spot anymore.
You can still hop onto another train if it doesnt bring you to where you want, right?
Cheers :)
